SEPT 24-26, 2010 / Barbara Dunham Workshop
3-DAY WORKSHOP - Barbara will teach texture techniques using both representational and abstract designs. She will be covering artist mediums (gels, pastes, etc.) household materials, (caulk, glue, sand, string, an more), stencils, paper-layering, paper-encasing, and easy home-made stamps. OCT 27-29, 2010 - Judy Carducci Workshop
Judy will combine plein air landscape with one day of in-studio instruction on demystifying the drawing of eyes, ears, hands and feet. Pastel and oil artists are welcomed. The early-bird price is $310 for Charleston Artist Guild (CAG) members and $335 for non-CAG members if you pay by August 31. Pastel artist Doug Dawson will combine 3 days of plein air landscape with one day of in-studio instruction on "the figure in landscape" and on nocturnal painting, for which he is well known. Pastel and oil artists are welcomed. The early-bird price for CAG members is $495 if you pay by Dec 1. After then, the price is $525. The workshop is also open to non-CAG members at a price of $550 by Dec 1 and $580 thereafter. Nationally-recognized "Color and Light" specialist Susan Sarback returns to teach her award-winning unique style. Pastel and oil artists are welcomed.
