Artist Bio:
Elliott was born in Charleston, South Carolina, grew up, and has lived most of her life in the low country. She graduated from The University of South Carolina with a degree in Early Childhood Education and began her teaching career in Fort Worth, Texas. Upon returning to Moncks Corner in 1978, she continued her career in education in the Berkeley County School District.

After a 28 year teaching career, Elliott decided to test the waters in a new career field. After taking many classes and workshops from noted area artists, her career took off. Her first major achievement was a “Best in Show” at the annual statewide prestigious Old Santee Canal Park Art Show. From there, she went on to garner both the 2008 and 2010 covers for the Home Telephone Company telephone books. Her works are in collections throughout the USA and abroad. Elliott is currently a member of the Charleston Artist Guild, Oil Painters of America, PSA, IPSA, and the PSSC.
