Become a Member
The Charleston Artist Guild has an active membership that meets regularly to exchange ideas, learn, exhibit, and contribute to our local community. We welcome new members every day.
The CAG operates a members' gallery, sponsors numerous juried art shows, promotes art-related educational workshops and has active community outreach programs.

CAG Education and Workshops
- Free entrance to Magnolia Plantation Gardens, Middleton Place Gardens and Drayton Hall to paint, sketch or just dream!!!! Numerous workshop opportunities throughout the year by accomplished artists
CAG Outreach and Volunteer Programs
- High School Artistic Merit Awards
- ASCEND — partial college scholarship competition for high school students
- The arts for the elderly and inner city youth.
- The Special Education Arts Awards Competition
- The Arts of the Alzheimer's for patients in local nursing homes
Membership Renewal
Membership fees are due in July each year. A renewal package will be sent to each member prior to that.
Member Dues
$45 annually (July 1 - June 30 of the following year)
Prorated for new members as follows:
- October - December: $40
- January - March: $30
- April - June: $20
(If joining in June, July or August, pay $45 to cover the period until June 30, of next year)
