Become an exhibiting member

To become an exhibiting member, the first step is to complete and return the Jurying In form by the deadline.

Send the completed form to Info@CharlestonArtistGuild.com or via USPS mail (to arrive by the deadline) to CAG P.O Box 21086, Charleston, SC 29413. You may also drop off the form to the CAG Gallery.

On the Jury In day, artists and photographers will drop off their work at 8:00 AM to the CAG Gallery for review by the jurors. Artists and photographers will return by 9:30 AM to pick up their work.

The Jurying In form notes the format and number of entries and details for the process which must be met. Prospects must be a current CAG member in good standing.

Once juried in, an artist or photographer can ask to be placed on the waiting list to become an exhibiting artist of the CAG Gallery. Upon this request, the artist or photographer will be sent by email a “Code of Conduct” form and a “Waiting List” form to be signed and returned by email, or to the CAG P.O Box 21086, Charleston, SC 29413.

You will also receive a sample CAG Gallery contract for reference. It is not to be signed or returned until you are admitted into the Gallery. The contract lists the wall space increments and prices, which are paid on a trimester basis.

Once you have “Exhibiting” status, you may also enter one of our CAG sponsored shows including the Juried Exhibiting Members’ Show.

Dues must be current and must not lapse in order to remain a member in good standing and in order to retain the “Exhibiting” membership status.
